Ben Gutierrez (he/him) felt a need to maintain and celebrate our diverse community by building this safe space, which allows queer individuals to grow and navigate this sometimes-tricky world.
Chef Andy Figueroa (they/them) is also a local native who has been trained by Le Cordon Bleu in San Francisco after serving in the US Military. They worked in world-renowned kitchens such as Boa Steakhouse on Sunset, SoHo House in West Hollywood and Rivera Restaurant in Downtown LA.
Their new Latin-American Cuisine blends crowd favorites with their Hispanic heritage. Many of their dishes are family creations that had a way of bringing all the families together. Whether it was ceviche for a birthday or Posole Verde for “just because”, it was an event where we all crammed into someone’s house and celebrated… just being together.
