Extracorporeal, or beyond the body, is an homage to the late conceptual artist Ana Mendieta. This exhibition explores her aesthetic footprint in today’s contemporary video and performance art practices. Select artists create images that transcend time, space, and corporeality while exploring personal and historical trauma in profound ways.
