Annual First Fridays Mardi Gras Celebration and Parade

Parades, vibrant masks, and beads galore are in full swing in Bixby Knolls for our Annual First Fridays Mardi Gras Celebration on Friday, February 7th from 6:30pm – 9:30pm! Whether you’re covered in beads or making friends with a few jesters, lets get jazzy! See you there!

Activities:

• Our Annual Bixby Knolls Mardi Gras celebration and parade! Calling revelvers and characters of all ages to join us: Come dressed up! Animated! Dance! General zaniness! The parade steps off from Georgie’s Place at 7pm. Join us Look out for flying beads!
• Art Massive is taking over two storefronts (3930 & 3932 Atlantic Ave) for a one night only special select show! Featuring incredible visual artists and music by Toaster Music.
• Cheese Addiction (4236 Atlantic Ave) is hosting a spaghetti eating contest at 6:30PM and 7:30PM. $3.00 each participant. Reserve early! 562.424.2336
• Wander through The Allery (Burlinghall Dr. and Atlantic Ave), meet local Long Beach Artists and listen to music by DJ Senay (Eddie’s Liquor)
• MIXX Kitchen (3853 Atlantic Ave) will have music and specials all night and music by DJ Charles Lyons
• The newly activated Bixby Corner (Atlantic & Bixby Corner) will feature local artists
