Hello, my name is Nolan Ross Samé-Weil, MBA and I am running for Mr. Gay Pride Long Beach 2019. I am a Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor, business owner, advocate, community organizer and philanthropist. ?
For many years, I’ve experienced all too well, many of life struggles that are associated with self-identifying as LGBTQIA … when I was forced out of the closet at the age of 17, I was ostracized, and rejected by my family. From there on, I suffered with depression, anxiety, alcoholism, addiction, and homelessness for over 14 years. ?
With 3 years clean and sober, if chosen to be Mr. Gay Pride Long Beach 2019, I promise to raise awareness towards LGBTQIA , HIV/AIDS, substance use, and mental health issues in our community. I will use this platform for the betterment of our community as a whole. ?
For every $1 = 1 Vote, and this year, my goal is to raise $10,000 towards the United Waves Scholarship Fund. ?
“The United Waves Scholarship Fund was created by the 43rd Reign of the Long Beach Imperial Court. This scholarship is intended to support LGBTQ and allied students living or attending college in the Long Beach Realm.” ?
Any contribution you feel your heart can give is greatly appreciated. ($5, $10, $15, $20, … $250) ?
I’m very grateful, and honored to have this beautiful opportunity to help our community through the Long Beach Imperial Court. Thank you for your kind-hearted donation! ?
