On Saturday, September 14th from 5–10 p.m. the Arts Council for Long Beach will be leading the effort to activate the East Village and Downtown Long Beach through the LB Artwalk. Artists and art enthusiasts alike can walk the route of their choice which expands 7 city blocks with 6 Galleries, 21 Murals, and 30 businesses.
Visit the LB Artwalk webpage for information, complete with a new map of participating locations and events. A printed map will also be available at the following key hub locations: East Village Arts Park; District Wine; Hops & Vines; and MADE by Millworks.
The Arts Council is excited to announce a partnership with Tour LBC, an app that provides interactive self-guided tours connecting people with the art, history and culture of Long Beach. Launched in the summer of 2017, the app started with four tours and Tour LBC will be releasing its tenth tour this weekend for the LB Artwalk. Visitors can now conveniently view the newest art walk map as a tour in the palm of their hand. The app is now free to the public thanks to initial community support and recently secured sponsorship. Tour LBC is available on Google Play and the App Store. Download today and start exploring.
