Long Beach Gives: Make A Difference for 150+ Nonprofits Impacting Long Beach

This year we are raising funds to launch an online directory to promote those businesses and organizations in Long Beach that are part of the Safe Spaces Alliance. Meeting this goal will enable Visit Gay Long Beach to continue doing the work of curating safe spaces and promoting LGBTQ+ and ally-owned businesses and organizations. In addition, building the online directory will allow visitors to Long Beach and our community members to easily find safe, welcoming businesses and organizations deserving of our patronage.

Join us in giving to Visit Gay Long Beach, during Long Beach Gives on September 14th – September 21st, and together, we will continue to make Long Beach safer, and more welcoming for our LGBTQIA+ community!

Long Beach Gives is our city’s annual day of online giving. The 24-hour online fundraiser provides an easy and fun way for our entire city to give together. It also provides Long Beach nonprofits the opportunity to gain exposure and start relationships with new donors. Our goal is to inspire individuals and businesses in our community to come together to make a difference in the exemplary work of the 150+ local, participating nonprofits. The success of Long Beach Gives helped raise awareness about nonprofits and the critical role they play in our community. We surpassed our $350,000 fundraising goal and raised over $822,000 for the 93 participating organizations.
