Long Beach LGBTQ+ Mural Unveiling for LA vs Hate: Summer of Solidarity

Join us in celebrating the second mural unveiling of our Summer of Solidarity program on Saturday, August 5th at Bixby Park. This mural was created in partnership with the Long Beach LGBT Center, The Vice Mayor’s Office, Long Beach Parks & Recreation and MOLAA Museum. The mural was designed by Myisha Arrelano, a queer migrant from Mexico City raised in Long Beach.

The unveiling and dedication ceremony will include speakers and several performances. The community is invited to enjoy family-friendly activities, food, and more.
