Come paint with us! Enjoy an evening of laid-back art-making to benefit OUT LOUD: A Cultural Evolution, Long Beach’s annual LGBTQ+ arts festival.
Tickets are only $35 for a two-hour painting class! You show up on Nov. 14 at 6:30 pm, and a big group of us will be learning how to paint the above image of bright, colorful rainbow-dripping cherries. Even if you’ve never painted before, you will have fun creating the image step-by-step! You can add your own twist, or just enjoy the feel of the paintbrush on canvas. There is such joy in creating! All materials are provided, and you get to take your painting home with you. Wine will be available for purchase from Pinot’s Palette, and we will also have a silent auction. There are two-hour-free parking structures nearby, and street parking.
A portion of every ticket goes to fund OUT LOUD 2019. We are intent on keeping the LGBTQ festival free to all, making it diverse and inclusive, and paying artists. For more info about the festival, check out www.outloudlb.com and save the date for June 29, 2019.
There will also be a silent auction! 100% of proceeds go to OUT LOUD.
So far, our auction will include:
*A painting from Pinot’s Palette
*A pair of tickets to any painting night at Pinot’s Palette
*4 hand-painted wine glasses
*Gift card to Panxa Cocina
*Gift card to Pizzanista
*Tickets to an improv variety show
*Tickets to an improv intro class
Come ready to snag some awesome goodies!
***Thank you so much to Pinot’s Palette for hosting this event, and to all the supporting businesses who show us that LGBTQ voices are important. SUPPORT LOVE & DIGNITY FOR ALL!
“If OUT LOUD can help even one person come out more publicly, live more openly, and look more compassionately at their neighbors, regardless of class, status, race, or any other social marker, I will consider it a success. Combating hatred and bigotry really comes down to one thing: visibility.”
