The Lavender Scare at Plantiitas w/Queer Scouts

Queer Scouts and Plantiitas are collaborating to host a screening of the documentary film The Lavender Scare on August 14th from 6pm-8pm. This is the first documentary film to tell about the unrelenting campaign by the federal government to identify and fire all government employees suspected of being homosexual. Our intention in showing this  film is for us to learn about this untold part of U.S. history as a community and process this reality in a safe space.
