“My name is Nolan Wood, pronouns he/him and I identify as gay/queer. I’ve been in the coffee world going on 15 years and just recently opened WCC in December 2021. My goal with this shop is to provide a space for the local community while highlighting a safe haven for the LGBTQIA+ community. I chose to be an all plant-based space partly because I have been vegan for the last 5+ years and additionally I want to take care of the planet however I can so we can keep it possible to produce the ideal climate needed for coffee to grow. We’re starting off with a focus on coffee & tea beverages but hope to expand and explore our food menu over time as well as host a variety of events to showcase local organizations, queer artists/ performers, and more. We’re so excited to be here and can’t wait to meet you all.”
